The Illumine project continues this half term with a special 2-day workshop with Bafta Cymru-winning filmmaker, animator and music video director Ewan Jones Morris.
Ewan blends stop motion animation, gifs, collage, live action and CG techniques in his filmmaking. He is one half of directing duo Casey + Ewan, and often collaborates with a range of artists, including Bedwyr Williams, Islet and DJ Shadow to name but a few.
In the past he has exhibited work at Glasgow International Arts Festival and the Barbican and is currently artist in residence at Somerset House Studios in London.

Illumine is a year-long digital training project for young ‘Image Makers’ (16-25 years) that is managed and coordinated by Peak on behalf of Powys County Council. Having commenced in Spring, our Image Makers are working with artists and industry professionals to ‘reimagine’ the Brecon Beacons and wider area, creating original digital content for display at ‘y Gaer’, Brecon’s new cultural hub opening in Winter 2018.
