A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced office administrator to join our team at JTS Limited, Talgarth Business Park, Brecon.
We are an established, successful family business, designing and manufacturing specialist test equipment for a wide range of companies across the UK and Ireland. Although a small team, our office is busy, and we have a great opportunity for someone with good organisational skills and flexibility to help keep us on track as we grow.
In return for high performance and delivery of the role, we provide a competitive salary, flexibility with working hours including an early finish, where possible, on a Friday.
Our ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated, organised individual with excellent administration and communication skills who is a proven effective team player and will be able to demonstrate this at interview. You will be able to support all departments in the business, including sales and production, service, business development. If you have a great telephone manner, admin skills including finance and want to contribute with new ideas and share the coffee making for the office, then this could be the position for you.
The administrator will be responsible for all day to day operational administration tasks, including the following:
Book-keeping experience would be useful but not essential, however a willingness to learn basic book-keeping tasks is required.
Excellent IT skills including word, excel and CRM systems, with a positive approach to support the introduction of new systems.
Purchasing: raising purchase orders, progressing deliveries,
Arranging despatch of finished products,
Collating various data eg job hours for forwarding to payroll, compiling reports etc;
Chasing accounts receivables.
General administrative support to production, sales and service,
Taking and directing phone calls,
Keeping regulatory requirements up to date, in conjunction with departments;
An interest in sales and marketing would be valuable
Proactively challenge existing ways of working to improve systems and processes in use
Projecting a positive outlook to both colleagues and customers as all times
Operating proactively as an important core member of a dynamic and busy office environment to balance workload, contribute positively to effective teamwork and contributing to the problem solving
The anticipated hours for this role are 24 to 30 per week, with a core of 9.30am – 3pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am - 1.30pm.
We are family friendly as far as possible and can discuss flexibility with hours during school holidays.
