*Some of the Talgarth Youth Twinning Association with Mayor Jacquie Wilding
The Talgarth & Pizzoferrato Association came together last Friday for their AGM in the Town Hall and to give feedback on their Youth twinning visit to Pizzoferrato. They showed two films. One made with the help of Gwernyfed High School and business's in Talgarth and also our prestigious local Fire Brigade! This was the film made to show the children in the school in Pizzoferrato what life is like for the students and young people here in Wales. The children directed and staged most of the film themselves, it was a great effort, well done! The second film was images and film shot of the trip which included two and half days spent in the Elementary School in the Italian town. The children were hosted by the Town Council in Pizzoferrato, they extend their thanks to the the Council and the Twinning Associations both ends for a fabulous trip.
The children are really hoping to attract new members to the Group and they will be hosting some of the Italian children hopefully this summer. If you would like to get involved check out the Twinning Facebook page

It was great to see so many people turn up to support the event including Talgarth Town Council and the Hea of Gwernyfed High School, Mr John Williams. It meant a great deal to the children to show him how they participated in the exchange project.
