Glasbury Arts
14TH Annual Exhibition Preview
Glasbury Village Hall Friday 16 February
We have a very unusual feature this year to add to the range of local talent. In the summer of 2017 we co-curated a Celebra-tion of Welsh Contemporary Painting Exhibition held at Cyfarthfa Castle. There were twelve participating current significant artists, many of whom have international reputations. We are delighted that we will be bringing some of the highlights to Glasbury for our annual exhibition. The featured painters will include: Martyn Jones, Abstract; Charles Burton, Figurative; Alan Salisbury, Surrealist; Gustivus Payne, Figurative; Sally Mathews, Life Size Animals; Joanne Smith, Still Life; Veronica Gibson, Landscapes (Oils); Kate Freeman, Abstract and John Darlison Landscapes (Water Colours). In addition, work produced for this exhibition by Gwernyfed High School will be on display
Additional Guest Artists.

Other guest artist include Chris Armstrong, Wood Turning and Design; Clive Sanderson, Blacksmith/Sculptures; Sue Williams, Landscape Painter; Sarah Putt, Portraits and Clarissa Price exhibiting at the River Cafe. In addition, Val Meredith, as well as exhibiting some of her sketches, will be inviting visitors, between 12noon and 1pm each day to sketch with her at the exhibition. In addition, Gwernyfed High School will be exhibiting highlights of GCSE and A-Level work, including an unusual installation by A-Level Student Alice Gardiner.
