Our planning application is now live. We’d love to hear any thoughts you have - here or in person.
We would like to invite you to join us for a covid-safe, outdoor Q&A session on 2nd August at 5pm at the Hospital Site. Here we can discuss the proposal and respond to any concerns you may have.
Please let us know in the comments or by email to info@blackmountainscollege.uk if you will be attending!

There is a lot of literature there, so in summary:
• We’re looking to refurbish and extend the existing farmhouse at Troed y Harn and adjacent stone barn, replace several agricultural structures with new similarly sized buildings to provide student accommodation (23 bedrooms) and teaching spaces within the same footprint area. Proposals include related hard and soft landscaping works, new services and ecological enhancements.
• Our ambition is for it to be a car-free campus and are confident that the level of traffic will be lower than it has been historically.
• Longer term, as the college grows, we hope additional accommodation will be at the hospital site, possibly with a walkway between the two sites.
We look forward to seeing you! More stories
