A
Wildflowers & Hedgerows
As a child walking home from school
the flowering verges were so cool
a beautiful rainbow by my side
a paradise for insects and bees to thrive.
But where have all the flowers gone?
the over grown and dappled sunshine lanes?
by widening and zealous mowing they are slain
so please everyone, nature needs a friend
sow bee friendly seeds and maybe she will mend.
B
