Criw Celf Summer School 2019 – 15-19yrs
Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August – Peak Studio Crickhowell, 10am-4pm.
Criw Celf South Powys is a visual arts project for young people with a special interest and talent in art.
The project boosts students’ artistic skills, knowledge and encourages creative careers. We introduce students to professional artists, makers and designers through inspirational workshops, studio and gallery visits, exploring different approaches to art and design. It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills and try new media all whilst making new friends from different schools/colleges.
Workshops over this intensive 5-day programme include Digital Animation/Filmmaking, Drawing and Painting, Contemporary Weaving, Printmaking and a gallery trip to National Botanic Garden of Wales and Oriel Myrddin, Carmarthen.
Cost: £35 for the whole project including all materials and transport for the gallery trip. Course fees can be discretely waived for those who feel unable to pay.
