Côr Meibion Talgarth (Talgarth Male Choir) was founded in 1969 by the late Morwen Pugh.. Our purpose is to entertain and to enjoy ourselves in doing so and we proudly continue the choral tradition which is so much a part of our Welsh heritage.
We have raised many thousands of pounds for good causes singing in halls, barns, marquees, large houses and churches across the UK and overseas. We have performed at The Royal Albert Hall on a number of occasions and also in the Cathedrals of Rennes and St Malo in France. We have sang at the St David’s Hall and the Millennium Centre in Cardiff. Countries visited include Belgium, where we sang at the Menin Gate, Holland, France, Spain.
2019 marks our 50th anniversary and to celebrate this special year we are holding a joint concert with our good friends Côr Meibion Aberhonddu (Brecon and District Male Choir) at St Gwendoline's Church on 21st June at 7.30 pm. Entrance is free but there will be a voluntary collection with the proceeds going to the church.
