Ex members of staff, friends, family and customers joined in a celebration to wave off long serving Talgarth Post Mistress's Rhoswen Davies and Trudy Goodwin.
The staff recently took voluntary redundancy as major changes take place in the Town's Co-op as it under goes a massive refurbishment. When the new store opens the modernisation of the store had lead to changes in the set up of the traditional Post Office which for many years has had its home in the Town Square Co-op Store.
FYI joined the reception speaking with customers who praised the knowledge and customer service provided for many years by the Talgarth Post team. Rhoswen had clocked up more that 15 years service and was congratulated by Geraint Hopkins who was the previous Post Master from whom she under took training many years ago. Trudy Goodwin, who has also served in excess of 10 years also posed for the photos along with previous Post Office staff Ann, Caroline, Andrew who came to join in the celebration in the Town's Tower Hotel, kindly hosted by Pip and Jan the owners.
